From a young age, I developed a passion for art and photography. My Grandma was a self-taught artist who encouraged me and taught me what she knew. In high school, I took a computer software class where I was first introduced to the Adobe Creative Suite and graphic design as a profession. I knew then, that this is what career I wanted to pursue. After high school, I went to NWACC where I received my Associate Degree in Graphic Design. While finishing my internship class, I got a job working for Tyson Foods, Inc. I've been a graphic design specialist for Tyson since 2010.
My greatest joy in life comes from my faith in Christ followed by the blessing that is my family. I have been married to my husband since 2010 and we have two boys and a daughter together. I aspire to use my graphic design abilities to communicate a message of hope through Christ to my community and the world.
I have recently decided to leave my role as a corporate, in-house graphic designer to pursue a more flexible work schedule to best suite the needs of my family. I am looking to find freelance / contract work in order to continue using my abilities to help in providing for our family. I am so excited to meet new clients and work on new assignments!
